10 Metre Walk, Day 14/108

Looking up, The sky is bright and the wind is pleasant. Climbing an uphill terrain, nearing the edge of the cliff, Birds roar high above the sea, at my eye level and eagles flying even higher.

Beyond the edge, the surface of the ocean is 10 Metre deep. The reason to come here is to dive-in. Measuring fear to jump off and excitement to be one with the flow, Eyes gets fixed on the floor. On the inner edge of the cliff, the surface is a mix of moss lining bordering flat rocks. Nature’s cocktail mix of moss and rocks, runs all around the cliff, distributed irregularly in big/small oval & circular forms by nature.

Taking the right step forward, a little squat bend, arms wide open like a bird, touching the edge, left leg joins in, hands coming closer to the body, palms closer now, hands bending inward.

Reminding myself, “I am ready”. Pushing upwards and I jump off.

Unknown

For a second, There is wightlessness. 10 metres travelled in a moment. Personification of time w.r.t physicality of vertical abstract geography is profound.

So much is lived within a span of infinitesimal times.

Unrealised. Incomprehensible.

Therefore, Before body acknowledges the conscious nature of being in the air, It has already met the gravitational depth of the Ocean.

This immersion allows my humanness to pause for a while. I sense and see more through the skin than eyes, ears and nose.

Walking transforms to swimming. Treading on horizontal pathways, with body aligned Vertically, changes to gliding through horizontal-vertical pathways all at once.

This is way more denser than air.

If you are a leaf, flowing with winds. Winds will let you travel across distances and you will eventually dry off and be one with nature.

If you are a tree with solid trunk and deep roots, flowing with the winds will let you survive for centuries to come.

If you are a human body, As one with the ocean, You are pure consciousness, Being infinite and unbounded.
